Overland Expo East 2025 Recap: AEONrv Community Campout
What an incredible weekend at Overland Expo East 2025! This year’s event was one for the books with our first AEONrv community campout.
We kicked things off Thursday afternoon as a caravan of AEONrvs rolled into camp together through Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia. Seeing all the AEONrvs camped side by side in the Overland Expo East camping area was a sight to remember. Owners set up camp in a U shape with their MoonShade awnings, creating a fun, shaded, centralized hangout area.
Throughout the weekend, the camp drew in a lot of attention as people walked by. AEONrv owners shared their real-world experiences living off-grid and off-road, answering questions about solar power, battery systems, and what it’s really like to travel in an all-season electric cabin RV. Expo attendees stopped by to see the 2025 AEONrv up close, explore its smart design, and chat with the team about how it redefines off-grid adventure.
Our mobile support team was also there, providing on-site assistance for AEONrv owners — completing solar upgrades and handling a few custom service requests right at the event. This hands-on support reflects AEONrv’s commitment to best-in-class service and customer care. Whether it’s at our Reno facility or out in the field, we make sure every owner has the tools and support they need to stay adventure-ready.

Saturday night’s Community BBQ was a highlight for everyone. We hosted AEONrv owners, campers, and curious Expo-goers for an evening of good food, laughter, and shared stories. Jim mixed up his famous margaritas, and the night flowed into a fireside chat. Conversations about travel routes, battery upgrades, and favorite boondocking spots carried well into the night.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us — from those who caravanned into camp to everyone who stopped by the booth or came by to hang out. Seeing nine AEONrvs together at camp was a milestone, and we’re already looking forward to growing the AEONrv camp even bigger next year.
